A Better Life with Your Dog.

Positive and Force Free Dog Training Services in Derby, Ks and Surrounding Areas

We understand...

You just brought a new puppy home and it’s more work than you thought!

Let us help you train the dog all your friends wish they had!

A well-trained puppy leads to a confident canine and the BEST four-legged friend you could ask for!

We believe that dog training should be fun for both the human and the dog. We do not promote any training that hurts or intimidates your pet (we do not allow shock, prong or choke collars).

Not all dogs learn the same way but that does NOT mean you have to jump to using force, pain or intimidation methods.

It may be a quick fix but here at K-9 Kudos, we feel the risk of potential back lash of using force, pain or intimidation is not worth it. All training methods used by K-9 Kudos, LLC are force free and fun. We will work together on motivating your dog to achieve the desired behaviors. The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB) recommends that veterinarians not refer clients to trainers or behavior consultants who subscribe to dominance theories and confrontational training, but instead refer clients only to trainers who follow the scientifically based guidelines of positive reinforcement, classical & operant conditioning, desensitization, and counter-conditioning.
