Doreen
Owner & Lead Trainer
Doreen Hardiman, utilizes positive reinforcement, fear and intimidation free science-based training techniques for both dogs and people! She especially enjoys helping first time dog owners AND new puppy parents to better understand their dogs through mutual respect and teamwork. Doreen is certified by The Animal Behavior College earning High Honors, is a licensed Family Paws Parent Educator, a Certified Trick Dog trainer through Do More with Your Dog, a Certified Service Dog Coach through Cooperative Paws, a Tester/Observer for Alliance of Therapy Dogs, an evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test and is a certified trainer to teach humans in pet CPR/First Aid through Pet Tech. Doreen also holds current memberships with the Pet Professional Guild (PPG) and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
Doreen has been married for 38 years, has 2 grown children and 5 dogs. Doreen has a big heart for fearful dogs and has rescued two! Doreen does not have grandchildren, but she has a lot of granddogs!!

Paula Kim
Therapy Dog Tester & Observer
My name is Paula Kim and I have been an assistant Dog trainer with K-9 Kudos for over three years. I have a 5- year-old Goldendoodle, Ruby, that is a Certified Therapy Dog and has earned her Canine Good Citizen title. I applied to be an evaluator with Alliance of Therapy Dogs and was approved. I have tested many dogs that have went on to be therapy dogs! I also co-teach K-9 Kudos' Therapy Dog Prep class! I am married and have three kids and three grandkids! I manage a dental office and Ruby goes with me to help patients and staff all day!
Kinsey Klein

Hello! My name is Kinsey Klein and I am a certified trainer! This is a title I have wanted for most of my life! I absolutely love working with all different breeds of dogs and I can't believe this is my career! I am married and have a beautiful daughter! I am the proud owner of a fluffy Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix named Allie and most recently a Pitbull named Goose!
I teach group classes and private sessions. I look forward to working with you!

Ali Imel

Hi, I'm Ali Imel. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician who decided to shift my focus into animal behavior. I became a certified dog trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Program in 2012. In the spring of 2015, I obtained the Certified Professional Dog Trainer- Knowledge Assessed credential through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. I also have a Fear Free Animal and Service Dog Coaching certification under my belt!
In the past, I have owned and operated Yosemite Bark, a dog training company in California. I launched an inmate training program at Valley State Prison in Chowchilla, CA and was the lead trainer. I didn't stop there. I was also the Training Director at Doc's Dogs for Vets!
Currently, I am a Faculty Adviser for Victoria Stilwell Academy and volunteer at HaysMed every week with my Therapy Dog, Blossom!
I have always had a love for dogs and have spent over a decade participating in and training dogs for competitive performance sports including flyball, dock diving, and most recently barn hunt. I currently have 1 Jack Russell Terrier, 1 Smooth Fox Terrier, 1 GoldenDoodle, 1 Standard Poodle and a grey tabby cat.

Doreen is one of a kind when it comes to caring about your dogs. She has a lot of patience to teach, and love, and let dogs be dogs at K-9 Kudos. It's such a wonderful clean facility, nice and new, easy to get to, and it's a dream for Taya who always comes home happy and tired after training. When you mention Doreen, she immediately heads to the door. When we turn onto the road to K-9 Kudos, she starts whining with anticipation and can't wait to get there.

Learning
K-9 Kudos is a place where we set you up for success. Not only do we teach you and your dog, we teach you how to learn together as a team. You’re creating an everlasting bond with your dog while you train. Think of it as team building, each of you learning how the other learns best. We understand the relationships with our canine partners, and we help to build up both dogs AND handlers. We teach humans to read their dog's body language, so they understand and correct their behaviors in a positive way! We help dogs to better adjust to and perform what is asked of them.
Community
Building a community of people to support, encourage, share experiences, and welcome those interested in building a better relationship with their dog. We strive to create a welcoming, supportive facility for all dogs and their two-legged companions. We understand that it is a big decision to join a training facility, especially if you are new to the training community. Our facility, staff, and clients walk into every relationship with consideration, compassion, and focus to better one another in all aspects of teaching, learning, growing as a team, or socializing together.
Education
Education is crucial at K-9 Kudos. Training is continually changing and evolving. In the last few decades the science behind canine behavior has taken off and expanded, and there has been an explosion of new knowledge available to each of us on multiple levels of social media, good and bad. Here at K-9 Kudos we are providing more positive methods for training our four-legged companions. Keeping both you and your dog happy, healthy, and most importantly, safe!
